Since 1960, Henk has adapted his signature by adding the last two digits of the year. A form of equal ritual which he usually performs on the first day of the year. In this work, made on January 1, 1989, Henk signs once more the special year 1988. One signature is placed for each day in twelve columns, 366 times. It was, after all, a leap year.
