The basis for this work are 12 colors of wax crayons and a grid of 7 x 7 rectangles. For each rectangle, the line direction is determined by rotating a pencil on its axis and the color sequence is always determined by the die of 12. The lines of about 0,5 cm are drawn freehand. It is probable that a long line was always started from the middle of the grid box and then filled in to the left and right or up and down. Of course, the number of colors used are accurately counted, as can be read in the lower left edge of the work.
