A grid of 903 horizontal lines and 18 vertical columns is drawn in pencil. Horizontal lines are placed within the columns. which jump to the left or to the right according to a fixed measure. The offset is determined with the die. All columns always get the same staggered dash horizontally. The lines are set with Rotring pen 1.0mm. The spaces between the horizontal stripes are then filled (from the left end to the right end of the top or line below. This creates a 'disturbance image'. Henk made another color version of this work in red, green, blue. That work was made during a auction for the benefit of the food bank, after a tough bidding battle among his former students, finally acquired by Waldo van Bokhoven for an auction record.
