Series of parallel lines were drawn with a bending ruler, always shifting about 5 mm. Somewhere on the sheet the first series of lines is placed followed by a second and so on until the sheet is filled. Each series of lines, its length, direction and also its curvature, reacts to the lines already drawn. The deviations in curvatures and line widths are caused by the properties of the bending ruler. An example of a work in which the unexpected arises in the structure while working and by the hand of the maker.
