THE MISSING NUMBER

At a liquidation sale of a stationery store, Henk bought lottery books. He calculates that exactly 168 numbers would fit on a sheet. All numbers are put in a bag … unwrap and stick, from left to right. And then, to his surprise, he is one number short. There was also a number missing in the booklet. His youngest brother came on his birthday and spent hours looking at the work to find the missing number. Which number that is…..discover yourself of course!
Incidentally, 88 with which the work now ends is a special number for Henk. For example, he has lived at number 88 for years. So he drew this number as the last lottery ticket from the bag.
