113.400
2018

In a square of 2×2 cm, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 or 1000 points are placed respectively. He first makes a grid 3 × 3 cm – a total of 21 × 16 = 336 squares. In each square he maintains a white border of 0,5 cm around an inner square 2×2 cm. With a die of 10, the number of points to be placed per square is determined. The number of points put per line is counted … and added up makes a total of 113.400 at the end of the work and not one more or less. In the sketchbook we see accurate accounts that also served as instructions during the execution of the work. We even see a correction in these accounts, probably because Henk made a mistake once during the execution. Adjacent squares containing the same number of dots are clustered into a group by means of a line.
