Henk made a number of structures using a mesh grid or, as here, with a square perforated aluminum plate. The plate is placed on the paper and the contours of the perforation are then traced with a pen. Arrived at the bottom right, the aluminum plate is turned horizontally and the drawing process is repeated once more. The minimal shift of the grid causes the deviation. Finally, the overlapping square surfaces are colored black.
