1/2/3/4/5/6 VERTIKAAL
1988

A stamp made with a square rubber and with blue stamping ink. This work is one of the first works in which the die is used as a determining factor. Throwing six means stamping vertically down six times, throwing three means stamping vertically three times, etc. When the last line is reached, the stamp count continues at the top of the next column. The more you stamp, the lighter the surface becomes. This is also one of the first works where a grid is used.
