This work is a collage of two works that were made separately and later superimposed. The bottom sheet is a color study based on a square grid. Color spots are executed in poster paint at the intersections. The top sheet is a firework. This sheet has the same square pattern. A burner is held under each intersection for 5 seconds. This creates a variety of amorphous holes. Placed on top of each other, the underlying color areas are framed by the holes in a different way.
