ROTATING SQUARES
1988

A work that, like Turningpoint, is created by a movement. Now squares rotate around the pushpin. The position of the square is always taken over with a pen and the square is made black. The grid on which the pushpin is placed is of such a size that theoretically all squares can form one black surface. But of course that does not happen, they overlap and this creates white residual spaces. And these white residual spaces actually determine the image. In other words, the residual space in a fascinating image.
