Henk has made a number of works with the theme CRINGEL FORM. This is the very first. The circle shape harks back to an early childhood memory, a quilted blanket with a circle pattern. First the line is drawn with pen and then the enclosed shape is filled. It is one continuous line starting at the top left and ending at the bottom right. While filling in the outline drawing, it is not yet clear to Henk exactly what will result. An attempt has been made to keep about as much white as black.
